Rita, you were an incredible addition to Girls’ Varsity Soccer this year. Your positive attitude, level-headed leadership in the back, and knowledge of the
games were a large part of why we were so successful this season. You came into preseason ready to work and give everything you had day in and day
out. You were a tenacious defender and the glue that held our backline together. Your precisely placed corner kicks and free kicks kept us dangerous all
season long. You have an incredible ability to place a ball just where we need it. You saved us many times with some incredible defending, and emergency
defending when needed! Particularly in our hard-fought game against GFA. You were an incredibly coachable player all season, and we are so proud of how
you played throughout the season, and I’m so excited to have you for two more years. Thank you for all that you gave to our GVS program this year, and

Junior Year:
Rita, you had a fantastic season this fall and truly stepped up to lead the team in many important ways. Your versatility was invaluable. In the back, you
were a steady, tenacious defender ready to win every individual battle; and in the midfield, you were a spark of energy enabling us to generate threatening
chances and keep possession. You found your voice this year and consistently led with a positive and uplifting attitude, regardless of the challenge. What we appreciated most was your relentless desire to grow as a player and help the team succeed, however you could. You were always ready to push
yourself and your teammates with your competitive spirit, often staying after practice to get in extra shots, reps, and chances to improve. This dedication
and growth mindset will continue to carry you far in soccer and beyond! You should be incredibly proud of the accolades you earned, being named both a
WWNEPSSA All-Star and a NEPSAC Jr. All-Star, and we are excited to see you return for your senior year, ready to compete for another NEPSAC
championship.
